I LOVE Papa John's -- especially when you dip the crust in the garlic butter! YUM!
Wait!
I used to love Noble Romans pizzas. However, they closed the one closest to my hometown when I was a teenager. Best pizza in my area at the time! Now it's Sarah's Pizza!
Lou Malnatti's. Chicago.
Also in the North End, there's this really cool deli/market on Hanover Street that sells this ridiculous pizza that has literally EVERYTHING on it including chunks of polenta. Amazing stuff, but not for those watching their wastelines.
Also, Carmela's in lovely, downtown Longwood, FL sells a decent slice.
Never been north of New York City!! Is it thin crust or deep dish or somewhere in between?
I'll have to give it a try. Thanks! :)
I love their deep pan pizzas with garlic, sausage and spinach. Can't beat that anywhere!!
Malnatti's!....I forgot!
Pontillo's Pizza in Batavia, NY is the best pizza that I have had in this country, There is some good pizza on Hanover Street in Boston, MA
One of the cable channels (Food or Travel, IIRC) aired a New York vs. Chicago pizza test involving firefighters. Each throws a few amusing digs to the other's style. Giordano's and Gino's East are my favorites; friends in Chicago prefer Connie's.
Yummy! When are you going to take all of us there??
Hehe!
*HUGS*
Thank you Hopey for our beautiful pledge!!

LOL -- sounds like you made it a family tradition!!
Traveled around a lot, but one of the best that I've found is Jim and Pete's in Elmwood, IL(close in west suburbs of Chicago.... look at the link http://jimandpetes.com/
You got first Queenie!
*HUGS*
Tomkow ain't gonna be happy. LOL!!
Enjoy, It's in the McDonalds center on the NE corner. FReep me after you try it and let me know. For about 10 years after high school you could go in there any day at lunch and see someone you graduated with. It truly is a local place and even when friends come back into town they want to go there atleast once while they are back. I will be moving to TX in a month and am going to long for it.
