If the can't govern themselves, how can anyone expect them to govern America?

a bit ironic that they would refer to funerals, given their recent history turning them into Bush-Bashing, Liberal Lovefest Progressive Pep-Rallys

Well, it looks like Lamont is going to win on Tuesday here in Connecticut and then Lieberman is going to be the independent candidate (the Republican candidate in this race is a non-entity with a gambling problem). Anyway, it looks like certain Senators and house members will campaign for Lamont while others will campaign for Lieberman. Nothing like a good intra-party fight to help the Democrats streamline their message.

This is what happens to a party that's intellectually and morally bankrupt.

He may be a lib/dem but at least he's not "cut and run" and he supports Israel.

The weakness of the Democrats is that we'll screw up a two-car funeral procession America. (Needed fixing).

I'm assuming that quote has been put aside for heavy use in the lead-up to November...

The last thing Democrats need is for Joe Lieberman to campaign against Lamont and the Democratic Party this fall. Yes indeed, pass the popcorn!

The rats are quibbling over strategy. This indicates the rats know they are going to lose in Nov. A winning strategy would not invite complaints.

Democrats count on Republican to self-destruct this election year, that's why they are not concerned with the fact that they haven't gotten any unified message. Apparently, the other way around will happen.

"The weakness of the Democrats is that we'll screw up a two-car funeral procession. We're not happy as Democrats unless we are wringing our hands and gnashing our teeth," said Chris Redfern, the Ohio Democratic Party chairman.Mr. Redfern speaks like a frustrated man. He doesn't seem to appreciate the party's 'diversity of opinion' just 3 months from an election. This perpetual squabbling is supposedly the glue that holds hem together, as Democrats. It's a party in total disorder, undisciplined beyond belief. This party is now defined by its conflictions.
A nation in a fight for our very survival can surely do better than this.

And what do they offer us? Not a damn thing. Just the same shrill anti-Bush crap I've heard for the last 5+ years now.

That's true. You never see a poll on Bush where the disconent level is measured and defined by those who think he's being 'too aggressive' vs. those who think he's not aggressive enough. When push comes to shove, the latter will show up. The alternative is a much worse fate.
