I don't thik it is a lie. The
leaders of the Swiftboat org.
admitted on their website that
they were out to prove Kerry had
lied about his Nam decorations and
service. They also claimed in their
mailouts for contributions that they
would do whatever it takes to make
sure Kerry did not become President.
I know, because I received on of
those letters both before and after
I contributed to their group. Let's
face it, they did a damn good job,
and Murtha should be very wary of
angering that group.
OK, lets call it misleading.
The leaders are not Swift Boaters. They only support the BootMurtha Vets.
The Swifties were not part of this announcement last week.
