Alcoholics are very difficult to be around. Some are very much a Jekyll and Hyde, split personality, with the nasty one coming out once they've hit a critical amount of alcohol. They are very unpredictable and should be avoided whenever possible.

Little has been said about Mel's drink of choice that night --tequila, straight from the bottle.

Now science will tell you that alcohol is alcohol is alcohol. It doesn't matter what you drink. However, anyone who has spent time around a heavy drinker (or been one themselves) will state unequivocally that tequila tends to bring out the worst in people! It has this reputation and it is well-deserved.

Perhaps the effects of the alcohol are the same once they start, but the different flavors put your brain in a different state before the alcoholic effects hit?
