My husband, son, and I were just talking about this same issue last night.
Suicide bombers in America is not a strategy that will "work" for the terrorists. They may be able to kill people, hurt the economy, and instill fear, but it will harden the resolve and expediency of the WOT.
I truly believe that the terrorists "know" this and that is why we haven't seen any of these kind of attacks up until now. They've all been aimed at EU countries, Indonesia, etc.
We had this discussion at work last Friday. Some (libs of course) were in total disbelief that we are arming ourselves against terrorists. I told them about the many articles I had seen on the web - FR of course, but they still did not change their minds.
BTW, yesterday I found out that there were two MS 13 gang members caught in the National Guard who were helping the border patrol. Talk about the fox guarding the chicken house, that is not good. Everyone in the guard must be strip searched for "offensive tattoos" before the end of this fiscal year.
