Up in time for Secretary Rice's visit to Crawford, Texas, is the first Condi 2008 billboard of many to come. The billboard is located on Highway 84 in McGregor, TX on the way to the "ranch" in Crawford.

The Billboard, paid for by volunteers working with the 527 Political Organization, "Americans for Dr. Rice", went up Thursday about five hours before the President, and his entourage, landed in Waco for the trip to Crawford for his 10 day vacation. And, one day after CNN reported a 62% national approval rating for the Secretary of State and only a 27% disapproval rating.

Could this be the first billboard showing support for someone for Prez in '08?

Could be, but I'd have to look again at her approach to the current Israeli/Lebanon/Hazbeenolla situation...

Could you tell us why and then tell us who is "Presidential material" in your view. I'm open. I have felt for over a year now that Condi Rice is the only Pubbie who can beat Hillary.

That's the spirit!

Actually, the world doesn't hate her, but all the right people do hate her: Islamic Fascists, movement Liberals, the Grievance Lobby, and Hillary.

Can you ask for a better POTUS? Okay, you probably can, but Ronald Reagan has gone to his great reward, and Jeb ain't runnin' (bad last name, don'tcha know)...^_^

Seriously, she's done well for Israel this go round; stalling while the IDF finally convinced Olmert to grow a pair and send the Zahal to the Litani. Of course, this stuff should have happened two weeks ago, but Condi had to go to war with the Israeli PM she had, as it were.

You'll see her ratings go way up when she brokers the ceasefire. You'll notice the Lebanese gummint rejected the draft today? They too want to give IDF more time. I smell the Saudis here....

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Rice is a good candidate. She could defeat the wicked witch of the east and she has appeal to a large number of voters.

I'd have to vote for her. Rice, Allen, Gingrich, Tancredo, very good. Giuliani or McCain - poison.

Honestly, if Condi's election would be a nail in the coffin of the Democratic looney party. For no other reason other than that I'd vote for her.

Otherwise - the woman's got some serious capability. And she doesn't strike me as someone who'd take any crap off of anyone, especially the Islamic nutjobs and left wing wackos.

She is a smart intelligent lady, but she has only spent 4 years in government. She hasnt really run the State department, but then neither did Powell and the President cant do much with them either. She has few friends in politics, she has never run for election.

Now this is no reason she cant be President but< If she ran the dems are going to rip her to shreds because she is unmarried and no one really knows her sexual identity.

More Condi spin from the political establishment trying to influence public opinion.

I've had enough of this staged politics coming on behalf of Dr. Rice who has zero authentic consevative credentials and already identified herself as "pro-choice."

McCain is hailed as a "centrist" but at least Giuliani is a proven leader even though he is "gay rights, pro-choice."

Where's the next Ronald Reagan when you need him.

I was around when the libs hated moderates Nixon and Ford in the 1970's.

Rule 1-Just because the libs hate somebody doesn't make them a conservative.

An individual who is both conservative and describes herself as an "absolutist" on 2nd Amendment issues is no "moderate". She described herself to Madeliene Albright as a "Conservative Republican".

Of course, she may not be your kind of conservative, but you don't get to define what a conservative is then, do you?

Be Seeing You,

Chris

You are wrong my friend. She has not identified herself as "pro-Choice". She said she is "MILDLY" pro-choice same as most Pubbies AND conservatives, i.e. in the case of the life of the mother, primarily. Also, we've had a GOP Prez and both houses for 6 years and abortions are still legal. The GOP has controlled both houses for 12 years and abortions are still legal. I had to come to realize a long time ago that this is no longer a political issue, it is a judicial issue. So, elect someone who will appoint judges who will interpret the law rather than legislate laws.

I am rabidly Anti-abortion. I can't say I'm pro-life because I believe in the death penalty. But, I am anti-abortion and I support Condi because she is the only Pubbie who can win in '08.

If the Dems brought it up they would be shot down bad even the MSM couldn't turn away from their "pandering to homophobia."

Maybe Hill would use a front "Christian" group to do the dirty work.

I think the Clintons need to gin up a third party over immigration or such to win the next election.

I'm not panicking that Condi is needed to win. I think Hillary would lose in any two way and she needs to gin up a new Perot like the Clinton campaign did in the 90's.
