RUSH: Mrs. Clinton. You want a case study in how a news story is created and how it is sustained? Mrs. Clinton last night said that Rumsfeld should resign. So? Big deal! Join the club. Who hasn’t said he should resign? There have been a number of people before Mrs. Clinton. The reason it’s big news is because she’s a Clinton and she's the presumed Democratic Party presidential nominee and this gives us a sign! This gives us an indication of the direction the party is moving -- and if that’s true, then it means the party is moving back to its kook base and its anti-war platform which means that Hillary’s attempt to go to the center and right on abortion were a crock all along.
But back to Rumsfeld. Why in the world should Donald Rumsfeld resign? Has anybody caught him with his pants down in the office with an intern? Has he been selling military secrets to the ChiComs for campaign donations to President Bush? Has Rumsfeld lied before a Senate committee while under oath or to a grand jury? Was he called in the Valerie Plame investigation by Patrick Fitzgerald? Did he lie to that grand jury? Has he been coaching other people in his office to lie at press briefings or what have you? Has he been selling Pentagon paraphernalia, memorabilia, even rooms to campaign contributors so people can spend the night in the Pentagon and see what that's like? Has he been doing any of that? Has somebody accused him of rape? Did I miss that? Has somebody accused him of sexual harassment? Will somebody tell me why Donald Rumsfeld should resign, because I must have missed a lot.
I missed this myself, in and out of meetings in Los Angeles. I guarantee if I'd heard it, I'd have been dancing a jig at my desk!

The lunatic left Democrats (which means all of them) should change their party name to National Socialist. The Democrats are hoping that President Bush, our troops, and the United States will fail in the war on terror, because they think that would help them win elections. When Hillary Klinton, Lieberman and the other terrorist allies say that our policy in Iraq and Afghanistan has "failed", they are expressing what they would prefer to happen, not what has actually happened. Saddam Hussein is in jail awaiting execution, the Taliban are hiding in caves, both Afghanistan and Iraq have new Constitutions with free elections, 50 million people have been liberated, thousands of terrorists have been killed or captured, and there have been no terrorist attacks in the United States since 9/11/01. If Clinton(s), Gore or Kerry were President, we would have had several more attacks in the U.S. by now, and hundreds of thousands of Americans would have died via biological, chemical, nuclear and/or conventional bombs. The Democrat/Socialists would destroy capitalism and freedom by appeasing terrorists.

The United States is wasting Billions of dollars on Congress and the senate. Why are we paying all of these people and keeping offices open for them. We could have an election and just name the Republican candidate and the Democrat party. Its ridiculous to have a person represent the democrat party we all know they will vote party line.
