Interestingly, the epicenter of the pro-Lamont netroots is having something of a panic attack. He fears in particular, that Lamont may well win just narrowly (with some outside possibility that he might lose), and the Joe will live to see another day. On the other hand, it might just be spin, i.e., a disingenuous motivational thingy, to fire up the troops.

Isn't the electorate 45 % Independents and 25 % Republican? And isnt this a closed primary? And isnt the Republican a very weak candidate? I just don't see how Lieberman would lose a general election, given Lamont with momentum or not.
