You do at least have to admire their networking abilities. They sure put us to shame.

Arnold is quite busy sucking up to the environmental wackos, and is almost doing as good a job as Bush is doing sucking up to the illegal aliens.
Arnold is perfectly capable of "greening" California into bankruptcy.
What a freakin' embarrassment he is.

This is just brilliant! Businesses have been learing here in droves because of taxes which are too high, regulatory fees which are too burdensome, and workers comp costs which are still some of the highest in the nation.
And .. now our brilliant Gov is going to partner himself with the GREENIES so they can impose every more burdensome costs upon the businesses in CA.
THIS IS MORE THAN STUPID - IT'S IGNORANCE! Businesses are going to continue leaving the state.

The Democrats want to shut down California's economy. That is the only way emissions levels can go back to what they were in 1990. It can't be done. The Canadians have discovered already Kyoto doesn't work and can't be made to work.

I used to support PG&E in their horrid battle with the GovernMental EnvironMental GANG-GREEN militants, but now they've come down with a case of the "terminal stupids!"
Screw 'em! No more! They are lying down with the dogs and they are sure to come up with the fleas!!! I for one will no longer listen to their pathetic pleas!!! (I arhymed)
Calpine is a sick joke. They tried so hard to get ahead of all their competition by backing Gray Davis in CA, as well as the Sierra Flub, that it's no wonder they're in virtual Bankruptcy!!!

The other is a strikingly original bill that would bar long-term contracts with any out-of-state utility that failed to meet strict standards for pollution. A coal-fired plant in Wyoming, for instance, could sell power into California only if it found ways to dispose of most of its carbon dioxide, instead of merely venting it into the atmosphereThe power-drunk liberals running California are not content to make life miserable for their own citizens. They intend to force their draconian laws on the rest of the country.
Hell, if the US Congress won't act, the legislature in California will do the job for them.
This is hardly the first time Sacramento has misjudged. Remember the requirement that 10% of all new cars sold in the state must be completely pollution free? What was the deadline for that, 2002?

Yes... I know... It's embarrassing!!! In 1990 they mandated the 50% reduction going to landfills and a further 50% by the end of 1999!!!
Then they mandated the sun to rise in the west... JUST KIDDING!!! (well at least I think I was kidding)
Gee! It's nice to see someone I know lurking out here on FR over the weekend!!! (smirk)
