Paranoia is a standard symptom of communism. If the USA had wanted to crush that filthy regime, it could have done so many decades ago. It is almost amusing that these commies are still saying they are still fighting a revolution...for over forty years? Who are they fighting?? (chuckle)
In a very perverse way, it is funny.
I haven't read through all the comments, but I doubt they fear a US attack nearly as much as they fear an internal revolution. So they prepare the troops to defend against an internal coup and blame Bush by claiming they fear an invasion from the US. Sounds like proof the island's still run by democrats.

Not sure it is all paranoia. Mobilizing the militias primarily to crush any sort of uprising. This is not about defense, but oppression. Still it is funny. Especially that Cuba claims they could fight us. I am all for invading Cuba, in good time, Iran is what we need to worry about now.
They are just taking their paranoia cues from American lefties.
