FMS sales are supposed be with countries the US has friendly foreign agreements. At best there are only a dozen of so countries that could have procured this type weapon from US. Should be relatively easy to trace.

At best there are only a dozen of so countries that could have procured this type weapon from US. Should be relatively easy to trace. Actually there are over 40 countries that deploy the TOW. Switzerland produces them under license. There may be others. Iran's are unlicensed copies, although they reportedly had a license to produce the earliest models under the Shah.
