Yet another major figure has exited Air America Radio.
COO Carl Ginsburg, one of the left-leaning talk networks early architects, has resigned. No replacement has been named.
As previously reported, president Gary Krantz, who joined the company in April 2005, exited in June of this year.
Meanwhile, former CEO Danny Goldberg, who remains with the network through the end of 2006 as vice chairman, is returning to his music business roots and has started a new venture.
Wouldn't they have to pay a replacement?
Unless one of their sugar daddies kicks in more cash, they won't be around up till the November elections, their ultimate goal. Doesn't really matter if nobody is listening.
"The DUmmies will praise this news as a sign of bigger and better things to come. They are only $10 away from taking over Limbaugh in the ratings!
I dug deep at DU. If one goes there, looks under "forums" and clicks on media....that is the place to find any discussion there about air america. And in looking through the first 14 pages I found damned little other than simpering about how wonderful Franken is and whining about how stupid and un-hip the average american is.....how we need the fairness doctrine...etc. They refuse to see that being boring, having few listeners, no sponsers equals out of business. I could find no more than half a dozen postings where the topic was ratings or AAR failure to catch on. The funniest was one where they were discussing how the electrical workers union in ANchorage AK bought the station AAR is broadcast on. They think every union should bail out AAR. LOL!!!
