You're correct. A lot of Freepers are talking of "sending a message" to the GOP. I don't have a good feeling about this Nov..

If that is really the case, they deserve what they will get for their impatience.

Yeah, a lot of them are lying to the pollsters too. And a lot will hold their noses and vote for the pub. We will NOT turn our national security over to the democrats at this point in our history. I see nothing in the democrats that inspires confidence in reasonable people to give them power.

How many "freepers" are planning to send a message? Are their 100, 500, 10,000 and a\where are they? These are all local elections and polls among "national adults" are meaningless.

The agenda f the left is in full play here and is more then obvious. As they tried to do with the exit polling last election and have tried to do since then, they float all these polls that make it seem utterly hopeless for the republicans in the coming elections with the idea being to get them to just stay home since they will lose anyway. The problem is the issue will be national defense this time same as last time any people will vote for who they believe will keep them out of harms way, not someone who will hand victory to the enemy in the hopes that we can make them understand we mean them no harm. The Democrat strategy of appeasement and cut and run has been a failure before and it will fail again.

A lot of Freepers?

Oh, well I only wish elections were that easily won! hehe!

Unlike 2004, offline many republicans and republican voters of 2002 and 2004 are talking of sending the GOP a message.

There IS a difference between the polls and predictions of 2002/2004 and the ones of 2006. That is, we could not find those "unhappy with republican people" in our daily lives that the media claimed were being polled. Reality did not correspond with the poll results of 2002/2004.

I dont know about you but I DO see them this time. I'm afraid this year reality IS corresponding with the poll results.

Today the dems weekly address criticised the republicans for voting against the minimum wage.

Did Bush criticise the dems for voting against the minimum wage?

Sorry but if the republicans and Bush are going to go overboard with this touchy feely compasionate politics... it's their own fault if they fall.

We can fight for them but they also have to get in the ring and fight too.
