"When I used to read about the 1930s the Italian invasion of Abyssinia, the rise of fascism in Italy, Spain, and Germany, the appeasement in France and Britain, the murderous duplicity of the Soviet Union, and the racist Japanese murdering in China I never could quite figure out why, during those bleak years, Western Europeans and those in the United States did not speak out and condemn the growing madness"
I used to wonder how the govts and people in the 30-40's managed to ignore the growing threats of the axis powers. No more. I see it being replayed today. The same head in the sand, appease them and they won't bother us (today), make excuses for the aggressor attitude.
At some point govts will realize that we up against an implaccable foe, a genocidal group absolutely committed to our destruction. A group that cannot be appeased, reasoned with, or disuaded by anything but pure, brutal, relentless, overwhelming, force.

I am afraid you are right. It is beginning to look like the only solution will be to wipe these folks off the face of the Earth. The civilized world cannot allow these vermin to exist anywhere, or they just keep coming back like cockroaches.
When I was a child I used to wonder how ordinary German people could go along with the destructive Nazi regime. Now I know how "normal" people can ignore reality or delude themselves that their "reality" is correct.
What is required by the West to survive the war against the Izzis, Islamo-Fascists, is at this time, for many, inconceivable. As inconceivable as WWII to the US prior to Pearl Harbor. I fear we are on the brink of a world war in which millions will die before the Izzi threat is conquered.
