The "Texas Fighting Dems" staged a small rally at the Sun City retirement community Stupid dims. Most of the Sun City is very patriotic and conservative. I'd bet is was a VERY SMALL rally, as that area is mostly Republican.

Although the group supports pulling out of Iraq, they bitterly resent any suggestion their position is cowardly and criticized Carter for not serving in the military.

Texas Democrats practiced "cut and run" when their only danger was congressional redistricting. The only bullets flying then were rhetorical.
