God Bless Our US Military. Amen! A friend and I ate at the local Taco Bell earlier today, and on the way out I passed by a US Army soldier wearing those new "digital camo" fatigues. I told him "thanks for serving," and he replied with "you're welcome." I know it sounds corny, but it really made me feel good. I'm sure they don't hear it all that much when out and about in public.

He had a good question about "why those in charge will not just allow, but encourage offshoring our defense industries" like titanium and steel production, or GM to fail, even computer parts for the defense industry in the hands of others.
My answer is, that is what they mean when they say that "there has never been a war between trading partners". Not that the trading makes us one, but that by tying our hands, and theirs with trade entanglements, the power to make war is in many hands, not the individual countries.
IOW, tying our hands is a good thing to these "one worlders", it is the method they use to castrate the American giant. Bush BELIEVEs what he is doing is the "Lords work" IMO, and the others like Clinton and the rest of the CFR followers, do it for the good of humanity.

I have a feeling Savage lost about 1/2 his listeners in the second half of this episode. He is now doing this strange introspection.
There's nobody like him!

Is this 'Frank' one of Hannity's callers?
I swear once that Hannity's Marty called into Savage! Kinda neat.

LOL! I'm sure there are talkshow junkies that call all the shows to voice their opinions!

Hagee is a brimstone and fire preacher, selling the word. IMO that is

One guy I have heard on almost every show at one time or another is a very combative African American male. I forget his name but his voice is unmistakable.
He punctuates his speech with baits or put downs and has a habit of waiting for a reaction from the host. The hosts have picked up on this (for years now) and don't take the bait and dismiss him in some other way.
I read once on FR that he showed up at an Ann Coulter booksigning - not to cause trouble, I think he bought the book - and Ann heard his voice and was all excited to meet him. I think his warm reception from AC thew him off.

'Frank from Queens,' I think, a regular caller from the Hannity show.

We have one here in boston, named sidiki, calls only when the subject is war or about blacks, he's a racist and he's also against the war - he has been banned from shows but eventually the ban is lifted, he has a distinct voice, always says, "let me say this" and then babbles some nonsense......

Hagee? I dunno maybe a Benny Hinn on steroids. Or a Pat Robertson on the edge. Or how bout an evangelical Christian Savage. He's a fire and brimstone preacher, unfortunately a dying breed for sure.
I'm wary of people falling to the ground at the touch of Hinn but I respect Pat Robertson but never heard him give a sermon, and not really a fan of Falwell, OTOH Hagee's sermons are classic. You an atheist?
Savage doesn't seem to embrace his Jewishness but does embrace many aspects of Christianity. He seems to always be in search of truth irregardless right out in the open for all to see and challenge if need be. He unnecessarily apologizes to his audience (like Rock) for his religious deviations, but I enjoy Savage's religious discussions.

Every morning when I stop for coffee at Sheetz or Rutters, here in York (PA), I see US Military, NEST, Police, Fire etc, and I tell the check-out lady that I've got their tab. She takes care of it, and we settle-up the next morning. I go back through the line, and thank them for their service, shake their hands, and leave with a tear in my eye.
When I came back from 'Nam in '71, after 2 tours w/ 5TH SF 3rd BTN, I was spit upon and had eggs and tomatoes thrown at me and many other Vets. I was arrested in Honolulu for trashing 5 subhuman hippy scumbags who physically attacked a fellow Vet in a wheelchair. It took 6 Honolulu cops to pull me off of them. All went to hospital with serious injuries.
My controllers, 'The Company', came and got me out of that mess. Ha! I'd do it again in a heartbeat, dammit!

Interesting. I've called in to Dennis Prager and Savage a couple of times. Each time i got right through. It's fun, but I think people who call up a lot have a screw loose, no matter what their opinion is!

I stayed with him, although I didn't understand some of what what was said. My Bible 'skills' are sadly lacking, I'll admit.
Time to do some 'research', H. I feel that *something way beyond us all* is coming, and it'd be nice to know what it is.
These are 'times which try men's souls', for sure.
God Bless America.

I always stick with him. In fact, he is the only radio personality I never miss. I get genuinely bummed when he is out!

Me, too. That's why I purchased a monthly sub to listen to his Archives. You got one? If not, FReepmail me... please.

LOL! I wish I was old enough and had been there to kick some hippie ass with ya! :-D I've never served in the military (been taking care of my father for the better part of my life), but I have the utmost respect for any man or woman who has served our great country. I have three uncles who served in the US Army. Two of them during the Korean War, and the other was stationed in Germany as part of the NATO force during the beginning of the cold war. Two of them come by to visit once a week, and they frequently talk about their time in the service. Some of the stories are quite interesting, especially the on-leave visits to Japan, if you know what I mean. ;-D Anyway, thank you for your service as well, butternut. You Vietnam vets got a raw deal when you came home, and the subsequent years after, that's for sure.
