You know, I'll bet Syran knew that the US was slipping data to the Israelis. But why did Mr. Blumenthal make a fact of it? That was stupid and IMHO seditious.

More to the point, who knows who knew what about this and was being mum about it--certain Middle Eastern governments, for example, who appear to be sympathetic to the palis but in reality fear Syria's growing thumbprint on this war.

I have no inside info of course, but there are many reasons why this king of thing is kept secret, and no good reason to let this info out unless one wants to do harm to Israel or, of course, Bush.

Liberals don't seem to realize that it's this kind of behavior that pushes the moderate voters away from them.
