I see, but it is well known that in Europe most people with any education know English. It's kinda interesting as there are many married couples where one person is German for instance, but the other is Polish. Neither speak the other's native language but they communicate with each other in English.

While Spanish may someday become the US language, English is thriving as the international language of choice throughout the world.

Anyway, I am relieved it wasn't bunch of drunk American women. I love my country, I love my people, but I cringe when I hear stories about how lame they were acting in some foreign part of the world.
