War is nasty but at some point, the Israelis will have taken out enough of the launchers and ordinance so that they will be able to move more freely in Lebanon. The real problem comes after they reach a point od "victory" because it will be even harder to seek out the terrorists as they blend in with the "civilians'. They only way to win is to cause overwhelming damage and death. I was beginning to think that Olmert understood. But now I'm not so sure.

I hope that ya'll don't mind me posting this again. Sometimes it can take forever to go back and look for links. It's really pretty cheap and I'm sure that the soldiers are greatly appreciative of the treats.

http://www.pizzaidf.org/

On behalf of the soldiers of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), we wish to thank the many, many people the world over who have sent Pizza, Burgers and a variety of other treats, and especially thank you to those who have sent pizza and encouraging messages of support and gratitude during the current campaign.

We are delivering to the Lebanese border
and around Gaza

[en français: page in French]

During the last four years we have delivered many thousands of pizza pies and other gifts to thousands of soldiers. It is hard to describe how happy they are to receive your "special treats" -- it goes well beyond getting a hot pizza late at night at a lonely post. It is as tremendous an experience for us to give them out on your behalf as it is for the soldiers to receive them. They love to know that people everywhere support and care for them.

Please let us know if you are dedicating your delivery to a friend or loved one so we can send them a certificate, minimum order of $25.

Our deliveries are coordinated with the security forces
and pose no security risk.

We are also giving you the opportunity to write and send pizza to families who were displaced from Gush Katif. Many are still in tempoary, not ideal, locations.

You can choose from five pizza packages, all with 18" pizza pies and large bottles of soda*. Your orders are handled via our secure server.
Alternatively, you can print out the order form and fax it to us at (+ 972-2) 993-3792..

You can also send burgers to our soldiers here
or from our burger site, BurgerIDF.org.

According to Jewish custom, meat is not eaten during the first 9 days of the month of Av as a sign of mourning for the destruction of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. In line with this custom we are not delivering burgers during this period.
However, we are still accepting your burger orders for delivery immediately after this time of national mourning. Our next burger delivery will be on 6th August.
During this period, you can send Pizza as usual.
Thank you once again for your support of our soldiers.
All our products are Kosher l'Mehadrin
allowing all soldiers receiving them to be able to eat them.
Delivery included in price.

* Pepsi or Coca-Cola (Coke) depending on the hechsher (kosher supervision) of the delivering pizzeria.
