Just curious, if you don't mind sharing, what was your reason to be neutral in the first place?

OK, I will:

You'll probably find that most people, outside the USA and Israel, are neutral. For the most part, the strongly-pro-Israel sentiment is seen as predominantly an "American thing."

I could see wrong being done on both sides. I did feel that Israel's responses to attacks were hugely disproportionate and way over-the-top -- and therefore saw some merit in "the other side of the story".

And, when mixed in with other issues like the Occupied Territories (settlers encroaching on property that does not belong to them) saw no reason to come down strongly on the side of Israel.

I have now changed my viewpoint. But it took time and careful consideration of the ramifications of the current conflict. Most people probably couldn't be bothered, as it was alot of hard work.
