God is sitting in Heaven when a scientist says to Him, "Lord, we don't need you anymore. Science has finally figured out a way to create life out of nothing. In other words, we can now do what you did in the beginning."
"Oh, is that so? Tell me..." replies God.
"Well," says the scientist, "we can take dirt and form it into the likeness of you and breathe life into it, thus creating man."
"Well, that's interesting. Show Me."
So the scientist bends down to the earth and starts to mold the soil.
"Oh no, no, no..." interrupts God ...
"Get your own dirt."

Wow, isn't higher education a boon to society. We are less of a culture because no one ever pulled this torpid little twerp aside and smacked him.

Evil Fools.
These people make me physically ill.
What decent man would ever want a woman for a wife who felt like that about her children????? or for that matter, The guy who wrote the piece would be considered by me as lower than the stuff I scrape off of my shoes.

Everything the author says about a fetus is true of a newborn infant. It's a wad of cells (we all are, really) and a parasite on it's parents that can't make it's own cognitive decisions. Does the author support infanticide, too, like Peter Singer and Michael Tooley? Enquiring minds want to know.

What a total 1D10T...
Considering this is in academia, it's a case of dog bites man...
Suffice it to say, his views are still at best utterly disturbing, if not outright sickening.

Somebody who says something like this is to be feared as in for your own safety. If he has no conscience about this and can rationalize like this in such a bizzaro way, then he could be thought to rationalize something along the same lines for others as well. Soooo logical, doncha know

This guy's brain is just a wad of cells!

This dumbass probably thinks this is a new idea.
I heard exactly the same thing 40 years ago, and it wasn't new then.
It was wrongheaded then, and it's wrongheaded now.
But I don't think those who spout this garbage care about right or wrong.
They're just trying to justify their selfish actions.

Life means nothing to idiots who think life is pointless and random. However, They are the ones who are pointless and random. That is why their soul will never rest.

This is nothing more than some stuck up puke regurgitating an old argument which I heard when in school more than a decade ago (from someone else trying to pass themselves off as independent thinkers).
This gets you major points in lib circles and you can 'feel' like you have something worth saying. Personally I have more hope for someone like this than a guy I work with who acknowledges its an unborn child but denies there is a right to protect it.
