murtha did defame and dishonor a soldier. murtha humiliated himself in front of the nation. if all of congress spoke as murtha, then the enemy we are fighting would be further emboldened. It could cause a situation where more people die because of the congressman's words. This isn't simply.... aid and comfort.....This is more!
I call murtha's speech choosing a side....hint...hint...and the side chosen isn't America.

Murtha dishonored a foundational principle of American jurisprudence - civil or military - which states that all are considered innocent until proven guilty. Which in my mind disqualifies him. Period. From anything.
