The good people of the DFW Metroplex are being forced to support a failed business - American Airlines. Air fares out of DFW are much higher than other airports in the country and the real reason to keep the areas largest employer out of bankruptcy court.
AA posted $233 million in profit last quarter, hardly a "failed business".
