People often think that drunks speak what is really on their minds when they are drunk. I'm not so sure. My experience with alkies (and I have considerable) is that they say just about anything to try and hurt and get at someone when they are loaded. I suspect that if Gibson were arrested by a black man instead of a Jewish man we'd be hearing about his use of the "N" word. Is Mel Gibson truly a bigot in his heart? That's something for him to figure out and get straight with his maker. The endless discussion is quite silly coming from Hollywood who has fawned over people like Cindy Sheehan who constantly say things about the Iraq war, Israel and the Jooooooos.
I totally agree with you about the obsession over Mel Gibson...I was just commenting more about Dennis Prager.
I figure since this Israel/Lebanon thing is also involving a bit of a soul search of countries to figure out "who" they are going to back...
I thought it interesting what Prager said...but, notice I said that Prager said "in private"...not drunk.
Although he did say that he tends to give Gibson the benefit of the doubt because of that logic...he was talking in generalities...and THAT is what slays me.
RE: drunks...I stay away from them...ever since I was married to one and he used to beat the crapola out of me...so I don't have a "general" opinion on them..
I will for sure take your word for it..thanks
I think what you are hearing when Mel gets drunk is his father. I think you are hearing what was spewed into his young head by his Jew hating dad. As a matter of fact, I would bet that's one of the main reasons Mel still has deamons to fight.
