Reading the bible is a great reminder of how people used to live without the aid of psychologists and their drugs.

Life expectancy at birth in the United States in 1901 was 49 years. At the end of the century it was 77 years, an increase of 57%. People must have been reading their Bible more in the 20th century

Bible reading is great but so is modern, God given medicine.

Psalm 90:10 The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
