Heard a soundbite of Pres Bush this morning saying they are working hard toward a ceasefire, but his tone of voice and phrasing, parsing said something, too.

This thing can be contained if the Syrians can be convinced not to cross the border. The Iranians will be hysterical in trying to do so and will attempt to punish Assad if he doesn't dance to their war drum.
It's going to be very, very hot in that valley. This is long overdue.
