There we go. Much more accurate.
That's like "Pyschology Today" urging readers to write in if they've had a lobotomy.
They should just wear a tshirt that says it instead.
My guess is they're looking for women who are proud of killing their babies. I doubt they'll get very many real names. Maybe some should submit the name Bebe Killa.
"Translation: Hey girls! Hurry up and get yer bones jumped now and kill yer unborn child, while it's still legal!"
Get it while the gettin's good!
Oh, wait, they can 't.
Bebe Killa, isn't that a rapper?
They should have a blank page and say that's where the aborted children signed.
No, it's more like NAMBLA urging members to say "I've molested a child". Way more evil than a lobotomy.
I have never known ANY woman who had an abortion and was proud of that fact. It was relayed as a tortured and terrible decisions which they all regretted at some level.
This is the ultimate in support group stupidity. How about an ad so axe murderers can declare pride and self worth. Perhaps "pulled the plug on a loved ones life support pride parade"?
This campaign is very similar to the one years ago in France, which was partly responsible for liberalizing laws there. Women from all walks of life were included, and the largest "John Hancock" at the top of the list was Catherine Deneuve's.
***Hey, look at me! I killed my unborn child!!! I AM A MURDERER!***
MMMMmmm. Not very bright are they? I thought this was "private" decision. Guess not.
Ms. Magazine editor (editrix?): I am a botched abortion
"Her aborted child could not be reached for comment."
They are looking for women who are proud of being monsters.
It has always seemed to me that, in order to perform an abortion, you have to kill more than the developing child. You also have to kill that part of a woman which, more than anything else, wants to protect her children. This "maternal instinct" is hard-wired into normal women. You have to make a woman abnormal -- something less than a woman -- to persuade her to have an abortion. Either that, or you will have a woman with enormous emotional problems later on.
Look out for a supportive "I have had an abortion" bracelet, to be worn like a badge of honor.
I'd assume the bracelet, much like the overworn yellow bracelet worn by John Kerry for Lance Armstrong, will be appropriately RED. For blood.
They could even put the words on the bracelet.
I'd not sugarcoat it though. Should be "I paid someone to murder my unborn infant" is more accurate.
Better yet, start having public abortions - right there in the storefront on Main Street USA. Let's let everyone see how great this "procedure" is.
And while we're at it, let's have the gays show us what "gay sex" really means. Show us all what you do to each other in the "privacy of your bedroom."
>>>I have never known ANY woman who had an abortion and was proud of that fact. It was relayed as a tortured and terrible decisions which they all regretted at some level. >>>
Even the rabid pro-abortion women who have been honest have admitted that if they have had one.
