You should consider it, if only to save yourself a few grand in fines and attorney's fees (possibly).
I will give that more thought but instructing a 17-year old to refuse a breathalizer condones the behavior in a way. What is the message? Don't drink and drive, but if you do refuse a breathalizer. Rather a mixed message, IMO.
