I'm not so sure about no setting up house, there was an awful lot of armor up around Metula, they could make the trip in short order if they skirted populated/Hizbullah fortified areas. The IAF could provide the cover necessary until the steel arived. Who knows what the Israelis have got planned, they've befuddled me this whole conflict.
