When your foes are all vanquished, then you will have a cease-fire.

The current Middle East crisis between Israel and Hezbollah is part of a larger struggle between the forces of freedom Good and terror Evil.

I am sure the terrorists will honor a cease fire, just as they have done in the past.

The United States is working toward a U.N. resolution to end the violence and lay the groundwork for a lasting peace accord, Bush said. He's going to get a U.N. resolution to make a "lasting peace"...What a leader!

although...... to GW's Texas mind this could be the perfect way to prove that the UN was deserving of going the way of the League of Nations no matter what it does. That sly Texas mind knows that the UN dog don't hunt despite what the Big City Fellers says that it does.
What a way to show up the Big City Feller for a Flim-Flam Man to the whole country.

What ever happened to GW? He has gone as soft as a ripe grape. If he believes there will be a lasting ceasefire between the Israelies and the muslime animals he is in "Chamberlin" la la land.

The UN IS the problem.Bush was great i dealing with the UN before the Iraq war. Now he seems too willing to allow them to "handle" Mid East problems.Bad move

Who cares about what President Bush says. Judging by the threads pounded out around the clock by some nutcases here, all anybody cares about these days is what Mel Gibson says.
Oh, wait, I care. I'm probably the only one left.
To: SandRat
Gimme a break. George and Condi now live on some other planet. I'm really glad she's NOT running.

Aren't cease fires the problem? Do we seek a cease fire with al Qaida?
To: SandRat
Well, the Presidents' own party is calling for an immediate cease fire.....perhaps this is why the tone has changed?

Just a small quote from this story....."He called on Bush to name "a statesman of global stature" as his personal envoy to the region."
Ouch!

The advance of democracy will give the people of the region a brighter future, will help eliminate terrorist safe havens and make the U.S. more secure, he said. Not if the people elect radical Islamists and pro-terrorists to power, as happened in Palestine. How about promoting liberty instead, Mr. President?
To: SandRat
Who's Mel Gibson???? Oh man, if you are being geniune, you are such a lucky person.
