Didn't you read the interview in which he said "My father never lied to me"? He could have said "My father is a great dad but he hs some nutty ideas" but he didn't say that. Something is wrong here. I suspect he believes that Judaism is worthy of contempt, and are no longer G-d's chosen people. I have also read that he does not recognize the Pope.

I'm not too sure the current Pope's views are all that different than Gibson's... Hitler Youth and all. John Paul was a different story, and a good man.

If Hutton Gibson does not believe that the Holocaust took place then he is not lying if he tells his son that it did not happen. [He's wrong or delusional or, perhaps, even insane--but not lying.] So why do you take exception to Gibson's statement?
