Right < /sarc>...I found a bit of news from the AP too:
..."The stunning bloodshed in Qana increased international pressure on Washington to back an immediate end to the fighting, and pushed American peace efforts to a crucial juncture as fury flared in Lebanon. The Beirut government said it would no longer negotiate over a U.S. peace package without an unconditional cease-fire.
The attack prompted U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to cut short her Mideast mission to return home Monday. In a nationally televised speech before leaving Israel,
Rice said she would seek international consensus for a CEASE-FIRE and a "lasting settlement" in the conflict through a U.N. Security Council resolution this week..."

You mistranlated. How come all the arabs are complaining about the "lasting peace" that Bush has Condi pushing?
You know why, and you also know why Bush has not called for a cease fire. And won't until the conditions he outlined are agreed to. Which may take weeks if not months. That is called cover, and we are the ONLY country holding this position.

I am hoping that the definition of "a lasting peace" means, first, wiping out all of Islam.

I was quite disappointed by Dr. Rice's "Neville Chamberlain Impersonation". Hopefully it was only a ruse to buy Israel more time to finish off the Hezbos.
