For the record, the first poster to make this a personal attack is a smoker. Must be frustrating to be losing all the time.

How can you throw out a general insult towards smokers and then complain about the response you receive? How does that happen?

How can you throw out a general insult towards smokers

By pointing out that there are other consequences to a smoking ban? The poster wanted to make lost jobs from the banning a reason to stop the smoke bans. If the measurement of what we should and should not ban is to be based on cost amd income equations, shouldm't we base it on all of the costs? This family is losing property, some of the drunks who contributed to their bottom line could be costing lives.

My recommendation is to keep your argument about property rights. It is more supportable than crying over the decrease in income because the drinkers are no longer showing up.
