If true, this is worrying me no end.
Israel is fighting for its very existence and losing is not an option. IMHO, Olmert, a nice man, has to go and must be replaced by Bibi or someone with military experience and a fighting spirit.
In countries around the world we have seen a noticeable shift to the right in leadership due to the attack of militant islam. This is happening in Israel and in the U.S. as well. Many Jews on the left are moving to the right because they must to choose between their love of liberalism (and its denial of reality) and their intrinsic love of Israel. The majority will choose Israel as will most Americans. Even the ever dopey John Kerry knows the Hezzies must be defeated.
Anyway, WWIII (or IV) has begun and some battles may be lost in the media, but this war will end with the islamic world in shambles.
I held off writing anything to my fellow Freepers regarding the situation in Lebanon since I must tie the present day happenings to the teachings of the Bible--before any of you folks turn me off, ask yourselves what other ancient writings have foretold present day history in just such detail?---for long have the Bible Books of Daniel and Revelation been discussed, dissected and interpreted by scholars and also some who have used the info to gain personal profit--for this latter reason many have turned away from the knowledge given centuries ago and do not understand what will and is taking place as we live in these critical days---since I am not a learned Bibical scholar, priest, rabbi, or minister but only a simple believer in what God has foretold and given all of mankind the chance to understand and therefore not fear the future (I addressed this post to you, sir, since you spoke of being fearful)---'no one' can give any other person an exact timeline of the history upcoming but one only has to go to their Bible and read the Books I mentioned---it clearly states facts pertaining to history over the past centuries and history to come such as the 'kings of the east and kings of the west' which we can see clearly happening in our time---the ending of this wicked world will take place very near where it started and so much of the action took place over many years--I am not good at begging anyone to believe as I do and am fully satisied that fellow Freepers are deep thinkers on many serious issues that face all of us, therefore, I feel sure you can all understand what is happening now and will continue to happen to our world in coming days and years until the Prince of Peace returns to destroy Evil forever----I do ask that all who are fearful and looking for answers in the present troubles read their Bibles or borrow one and seriously study them and pray to find peace for your own hearts and minds---I am an old man now who spent 5 years in service during WW2 and know the evil people of today are no different thn the evil people of that time---they have already sold their souls to Satan and stand opposed to all that is Godlike and decent between man and his Maker and must be dealt with firmly as we did in my day---there were the 'pacifists?' then as now, some mean well, most do not---we either stand with and for Good or we will surely lose to Evil---my most sincere good wishes to all who stand for 'goodness and freedom' for all men who will extend the same to others---"Do unto others as ye would have it done unto you"
