great post, DC.
My confidence is that Bibi will do whatever it takes to do whatever needs to be done.
He is not going to let a bunch of pansies dictate to him what is best in this PC world. He knows who and who does not have Israel's best interests in mind.
You know, I think Bibi is great. He's charismatic, good looking, telegenic, remarkably articulate and right on in his thinking on Israeli security and the nature of the enemy. I "campaigned" (wrote letters, etc.) for him when he ran and won the PM'ship in Israel.
So you can imagine my crushing disappointment when, once in office, he really just proceeded to continue the Oslo process, turning over Hebron (Chevron) as one of the "lowlights" of his short tenure. He still excites the imagination to listen to him speak, but I wonder if he really doesn't have some kind of flaw that prevents him from leading Israel. Personally, I would love to see him as Ambassador to the UN. As much as I hate the UN, it would give him a big bullhorn for that golden tongue and Israel always needs more and better PR to fight the Arab and Left-wing propaganda mob.
