I hope so, I am not -- I'm relying on "timing". The PR surge from Qanan was way too big. It strongly indicates staging, planning, preparation and live coordination.

Still I have my opinion about the pics -- agit-prop staging -- look at the open mouths of the "rescuers". "Presenters" or "professional keeners" would be the better term. The real scenes of havoc and calamity I've seen in person and watched on TV -- the rescuers are purposeful, quiet, strong, close-mouthed.

And look at the holding up and holding out of the bodies as if offered in sacrifice and lamentations. Oh what a trump of false lamentations! Look at the Beslan or OKC photos -- there the bodies are hugged, held tight, protected. Even in death. Modestly protected from the public view -- even in the immediate danger of Beslan.

I have a comment about rigor mortis, though. personal experience suggests to me that bodies can get stiff quick. May not be "rigor mortis", but stiff. Twenty minutes in heat.

But rigor goes away later - I just don't know when or how long.

I'm sure others have also commented on this, but what are the usual odds of survivors in a building collapse? Why aren't these rescuers looking for survivors, they are only looking for the dead. If it was a near-hit that brought the building down hours later, then you'd expect more survivors than with a direct hit, right? Have they been able to find survivors? I don't think survivors are in the script, because then the media would want to interview them, to get them to tell their experiences on the camera, and then too many people will deviate from the script and say something that doesn't add up, hence no survivors.

About Qana: While we wait for the after action photos from the IAF, which should tell us when the building collapsed, one theory is still that it collapsed in conjunction with the first wave of bombings -
- NB collapsed not hit by missile.

However, instead of doing their utmost to save the people inside, the Hezb decided to wait until they got their agit-prop people on stage, and it was time to wake up the reporters.

The rigor displayed may well tally with that timeframe, 8 - 12 hours.

However, they may also have increased the body count with corpses collected elsewhere.

On the Haaretz newsicker it is stated that the body count is suddenly revised downward hugely!

As was asked many times on these threads, where did they get the casualty figures from?

But as I said, probably the IAF will be able to give a fuller picture once they've analysed their photos.
