To me this is a very sad story. I have known so many who have tried to break with Islam, and it is very very hard when ones family turns against them. Islam is not a religion of peace. Do not let anyone, not even the President fool you. Surely, he has learned by now.
I think it must be hard to leave Islam emotionally. Although a friend of ours did, she's in our Bible Study. Went back home to Africa with the Jesus film to share with her family and friends. It must be really scary to convert if you live there, or in Europe or the ME.
