Yup. That's the big measure right now. If the GOP were truly in trouble, it would be showing up in fundraising, IMHO. Yet the GOP's doing quite well, and Dubya ain't even warmed up yet.

However, the Dems have done an impressive job of fundraising for the Senate, leaving the Pubbies in the dust. That gives me more concern than any generic or double-secret internal House polling.

I honestly don't keep up with that stuff (fundraising) and what you say makes sense...HOWEVER do you have a breakdown of what sort of people are donating? Is it just lots of individual donors, or is it skewed by a number of wealthier donors? (I'm not sure if I'm asking this right--I basically want to know if the fundraising numbers really give a picture of individual voters).
