I can not blame Israel for their reaction. No doubt there thinking is, OK, you want a fight. Let's have one. The problem is, that fight will have to hit hard at the Arab nations that are supporting Hezbeballah. And that will be very, very messy.

Bring it under control now, only to manifest itself even worse years from now. War cannot be a half-hearted thing, or else you ensure that they will go on in perpetuity.
