It's getting curiouser and curiouser.
The Hizbullah/drive-by media story is collapsing like a deck of cards.
If this were back in the days of Vietnam, a rabid idiot like Dan rather would have simply covered up the story to help his Hozbullah pals.
No more.
Thank Heavens for the internet and conservative talk radio.

Assuming the IDF is correct in the timing of the attacks, the next question is why wasn't the building evacuated before its collapse.

"The IDF believes that Hizbullah explosives in the building were behind the explosion that caused the collapse."Wouldn't surprise me if it was an intended explosion, so the terrorists could produce the "atrocity" scenes for the willing and gullible media.

This was another completely STAGED action by the Islamofashists.
Friday night, CNN had a hour titled something like "One Day In The War".
Anderson Cooper did have a great segment in South Beirut.
The Hezbollah propaganda officers grabbed his crew (and others)
so the news organizations of the world could get footage of...
a crew of empty Hezbollah ambulances racing down the street with
sirens blaring.
I'll give Cooper credit...he said it was a fully staged event that
Hezbollah used to try to slant news coverage.
I guess CNN is still trying to get over their "Blood For Interviews"
episode in pre-invasion Iraq.

That's EXACTLY what I think happened. I thought so even before I heard about the "delayed explosion."

You're just whistling dixie: prove your statement!

"You're just whistling dixie"Prove your own statement. Anyone who believes the myth of an 8-hour delayed explosion has gullibility problems.

You don't know what you're talking about; half of the population in Lebanon is Christian, some are Druze, some are
Coptic, some are Greek Orthodox, some are Muslim, etc. These
folks are NOT the enemy! The Lebanese Army is a joke: they
din't have the power to remove Hezbollah.
To: Alouette
The Hezzies are getting pretty desperate. They know that they must get someone to reign Israel in... and nothing has been able to do it yet. (I think they can't return the two abducted soldiers because they were decapitated long ago.) Now they're killing children and holding them up for Western journalists. What is their next option???

I think more than half used to be Christian. I thought the number was smaller than that now.

The religious regions map of Lebanon might answer your questions. Looks like mostly Muslim.

One half the Lebanese Army supports Hezbollah. That's why the army can not go against them.
Also Aoun, the Maronite Christian's political leader, allied with Hezbollah in 2/06.
