QANA, Lebanon — At least 56 people, more than half children, were killed Sunday in an Israeli airstrike on Qana, the deadliest attack in 19 days of fighting, which shot the overall death toll over 500. Infuriated Lebanese officials canceled a planned visit by U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who returned early to Washington with her diplomatic mission derailed Rice, in Jerusalem for talks with Israeli officials, said she was "deeply saddened by the terrible loss of innocent life" in Qana but stopped short of calling for an immediate end to the hostilities. However, she made one of her strongest statements yet saying: "We want a cease-fire as soon as possible."

I can think of 1000's of Israelis asking the same question when suicide bombers blow up in cafes, buses, malls.. etc..
not one of them seems to mind when innocent jewish families, children, women, seniors get blown to mince meat.
Israel is just defending itself. Hezbollah started this whole mess. When will tehy turn and look around themselves and see the enemy amongst them?
We will hear this kind of stuff from the liberal media that is anti-Israel. Of course they do not address the fact that these people have been hiding and supporting the Hezbollah and Hamas, and all of them...that never enters into their anti-semitic minds.
If the Pali's are that worked up about civilian deaths they should stop using them as cannon fodder.

I was wondering what the world reaction would be if Israel obtained about 10,000 Katyusha rockets and encouraged its citizens to launch them towards Lebanon, and said there was nothing its military could do about it. I know what the reaction would be, and I know that Israel wouldn't do it, but it was still fun to imagine it.

When the Fox reporter used the words "poor little children" with a quivering lip, I wanted to scream. The word children would have sufficed.
I wouldn't have cared if he said young children, but I just thought poor little children sounded like a spiel for UNICEF or something.

Did they ever mention "poor little children" the numerous times places in Israel were hit with homicide bombers??? I can't imagine children were NOT victims then!
These stupid, lying people attacked the UN offices in Beirut over this! Ironic, since the UN is one of their allies in this! Their combination of whining self pity and rage is just sickening.
Fox is no better than ABC, CBS, CNN or any other network. Time to pull the plug, folks.
