(Balkanalysis.com Security & Intelligence Brief 9) The knife-wielding attacker who terrorized young Macedonian women in the Albanian-majority city of Tetovo during June is not the deranged lunatic as some of the media has portrayed him to be, says a high security services source in Skopje. According to this source, the attacker (allegedly, a young Albanian male from Tetovo) is a known Wahhabi sympathizer. Islamist groups in Tetovo and Skopje with financial and ideological links to Saudi Arabia reportedly paid the man to prowl the streets by night and terrorize young women wearing Western attire not deemed to be sufficiently modest for their strict interpretation of Islam. Skopje newspaper Vreme, summing up the story on July 3, noted that three attacks had occurred, after which six different men had been arrested – and released – without the real attacker ever having been found. The paper compared the palpable panic being felt in Tetovo with a similar occurrence in Veles in 2003, when a knife-wielding assailant struck fear in the hearts of local residents. However, that individual was finally caught. The infamous concept of a self-appointed “Sharia police” known in places like Iran, Pakistan and now Iraq has never before been seen in Macedonia. While the attacker has been portrayed as mentally unstable and prone to violence, our source says, “that is just the image. He is not crazy. The brothers [i.e., the Islamists] are paying him to do these attacks- and some of the police may be protecting him, too.”

The Islamic "moderates" that condemn the action of the extremist are lying and it is supported by the Koran to lie to infidels. They are not condemning the violence of the extremist, they are trying to confuse us "infidels" into thinking that Islam is a religion of peace. Yes, and the Hamas attack in Kosovo in 2004, was protrayed as an argument between American CivPol officers and a Jordanian CivPol officer. The argument was reported to be about our activities in Iraq.....The Jordian had personal problems, and was not thinking straight or was distraught and pulled a "Postal' thing....well, this was not true. It was a well, planned attack by Hamas that succeeded.
Our presence in the Balkans has been justified by higher up as an attempt to circumvent any influence or favor that Al Qaeda (OBL) might have in the Balkans. Well, if this was the case it has failed. Secondly, they didn't mention to the armed forces that this was not going to happen anyway, because the people of the Balkans are not prone to the extreme form of Islam. They actually don't even like or will tolerate the IMAM's. So this justification was a lot of bull to fool the JCS (Joints Chief of Staff) and other military planners.....If it were correct this strategy failed anyway. The Islamic extremist works with the Albanian Mafia anyway.........I will say, however, that the Albanian Mafia has keep the Islamic Extremist in line by direct threats since 1999. Threats that basically let them know not to attack Americans or the UN or face death......however, we will work with you, and allow you to conduct religious agendas and criminal activities like smuggling but no IED's.....the drive of the Albanian mafia is of course criminal activity but also to see that Kosovo gets Independence. They need the International community to make this happen. If they don't get independence...well, my warnings, while I was there, basically indicated to those I talked too.....all bets are off when it comes to the international community being safe from suicide bombers if independence is not achieved.
Why any country, including ours, would embrace Islam is beyond my rationale. They (the practitioners) cause more violence and bloodshed than any other culture I know of.
I'm afraid there are reasons why..and all of the reasons trancend any rational explanation. However, there are different reasons and each "entity" that accepts Islam has different agendas and reasoning, besides the fact they have a brain washing machine second to none.

The overall situation in the Gjilan/Gnjilane region remains calm but guarded. The recent rash of grenade attacks and bomb threats, two in the Gjilan region highlighted the week. The rift between the two former UCPMB factions that existed during the UCPMB vs Serbs conflict in 2000 seems to prevail even to this day. It appears from local sources that Shefket M. Skender H. Ljirim Jakupi, and Besem Tihiri (Sp), may be the focus of the problems in this region. They also are reported to have ties with Muhahiden groups that are appearing in the region. A very reliable Albanian source indicated that the explosives found on the person of the two ANA members killed by the MUP, was destined to be put on the Bus that goes from Pristina to Drenica. The bus was to be destroyed and the scene fixed to look like the Serbs did it. The source has the ability to know this type of information.
PREKAZ: AZEM (BRAHIM) AHMETI KILLED
17 March 03 Azem (Brahim) Ahmeti, known as Begu, 52 years old, was killed on Monday at around 19:00hr by unidentified persons. Begu was on his way home, on the road between Prekaz i Epërm – Tërrnavc. The LDK branch presidency in Skendreaj issued a communiqué, harshly condemning this killing. The communiqué reads that Begu was member of the LDK sub-branch presidency in Prekaz i Epërm, and the nephew of Ahmet Delia (Albanian hero). (most papers, primary source Epoka e Re)
On 20 March 03, I received reliable information from a professional source that in the village Velekince an Iman (Muslim religious leader), approximately 25 years of age brought in some Muslims dressing in robes and short pants wearing the long beards. I spent 4 years in Saudi Arabia and learned over the years a lot of their habits, modus operandi and attitude. People of the village have not seen these people before and are complaining that they are praying and acting in different ways than the Albanians are accustomed to doing. It is thought that there are three or four of these individuals in the village. Following this report I inquired about any other reports and was told that the same reports came from Malisevo, Dobercane, Urosevac, and Mogila. The group in Malesevo was reportedly recruiting for fighters in Iraq about 4 weeks ago. In Dobercane the source reported that new faces have appeared and are recruiting young men to be Muslim by paying them. Also in Urosevac it’s the same reporting of Muslim extremist fitting the same description. Finally, in Mogila, Vitina Municipality, there is the same report of these types in the Albanian section of town. This doesn’t mean that they live there or hang around on the street corners with empty coin cups.
Finally, I just recently received a confirmed report that approximately 1.5 weeks ago, 12 Chechens went through the Pristina airport unchecked or unimpeded. The source is confirmed and extremely reliable, however, will remain unnamed.
If GWBush had done exactly the same words and deeds as Clinton did in the Balkans, Bush would be vilified and ridiculed.

Nope...:) he would of been drawn and quartered....I don't even want to think of it. Villified and rediculed would only be the start. Everyone has forgotten about the the greatest lie of the century by us going into the Balkans, especially Kosovo. It just befuddles the mind. Iraq is a completely different story.....as COMPARED to Kosovo for example. One could actually argue about the WMD for either side. But Kosovo and even Bosnia, is a completely a different matter. The dissolution of Yugoslavia had little or nothing to do with Lewinski....It has to do with Russia being the actual target. The justification that we were there to prevent the Balkans from forming an Islamic state is the biggest bunch of goo that ever was. They still conducted an operation against Americans in Kosovo, Spring of 2004, by Hamas. However, I will admit that due to the U.S. supporting the Albanians, the Albanian Mafia, certain influencial members we shall say, basically warned the IMAM's, that if they attacked Americans or UNMIK the Charities would not be welcome...as in we will kill you. However, if you are "good boys and girls" we will do business with you and you can preach, do your charity work etc.....One other incident in either 2003 or 2004, there was a planned suicide attack against Camp Bondsteel, more specifically in the Dining Facility during a lunch hour, but this attack was discovered before it got off the ground via a lie detector test of an "extremist".....I don't know if this was an Albanian extremist or an A-RAB....
