Cnn must be really torn...I mean the UN is their be-all-and-end- all. But so are the anti-Israel Lebanese and the Hezzies. Israel and Bush are the only baddies, but here their faves go and attack their other faves. Hand wringing moment...what to do, what to do???

According to Rebel_Yell2, the U.N. bugged out to Syria over a week ago. Maybe that was merely the unessential U.N. personnel and the remaining ones are essential U.N. personnel. Wait...

So is that U.N. peacekeeping buffer thing still a go then, or is that on temporary hiatus now?

I suspect the mob will be moving to the U.S. embassy next.

Call France and tell them they have a lobby to clean out. If they can't handle a bunch of demonstrators they sure aren't going to do much against the entrenched Hezbies.

After the bombing in Qana in southern Lebanon by Israel in which a bunch of people were killed, the so called PM of Lebanon (I'll call him Nasrallah's puppet) refused to let Condi Rice into the country, and this was something she was supposed to negotiate with him, I think. Definitely on hold.

The PM refused to negotiate anything without a complete cease fire. Shows where his heart is at.

Verrry interesting how quickly this "impromptu" crowd got their PA system up and going. Actually, it looks like a day at the park with all the moms walking around with their little bitty kids. Yep, I always take my toddlers to protests that could get violent, don't you?
