There is a big disparity between the tenets of Christianity and that which the belivers actually practice.
And in anycase we got the Word form God millenia before the birth of Christ from a different Messiah. We dont need the words of a mortal Missionary who got it all wrong.
Very true. We have Jesus in our sights, and we try to walk in His Way, but sin is in our genetic material since Adam's Fall, and we do stumble from time to time. But at least we have HIS Word as our Guide (a lamp and light before our feet), and more importantly - we have HIM as our Saviour. Thank God for HIS Grace and Mercy.

Adam had God's Word from the very beginning. Adam talked with God in the Garden. Strains of the Truth are evident in all the mythologies (even 'Hinduism' shows some hints of a knowledge of the Tri-Une nature of God with their version of the Trinity in Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva), but they have various twists that I can only attribute to satan (or man's inherent sinful nature). Truth is found only in the Bible.

No one is going to argue someone into Heaven. Like I said, I can only offer some words of Truth -- and hopefully God will soften your heart at some point in the future.
