There something to be said for Hezbollah standing down, militarily they are in a world of hurt.
But they just now got the whole Islamic world wound up over them, so strong and brave, standing up to the Satan twins the way they have...
...and now they're just going to walk away with Israel massacre-ing four or five hundred disabled children? Or was it five thousand, I get so confused?
The Muslims are HOT.
Let that kind of energy build up with no way to dissipate it and they can turn on you, very quickly.
Remember how they took it when Hero Saddam was pulled out of a rat-hole?
I don't pretend to know how Muslim minds work, but I know potential energy when I see it, and that kind of energy will find an outlet if it can, so at the very least, Hezbollah has some conflicting circumstances to deal with.

Conflicting circumstances or not, if Nasarallah keeps going he loses and loses big, Israel is giving him an out and if he doesn't take it the IDF/IAF and all the rest of Israel are going to put a big hurt on Hizbullah that no amount of media spin will help. If he stops, he takes his chances with the Arab world, and perhaps lives to fight another day. We are going to find out real soon what his decision is.
