"Israel hits Beirut - Damascus road at border with Syrian border

An Israeli air strike hit Lebanon's road to Damascus at the border with Syria for a second

consecutive night on Sunday, witnesses said. The raid struck between Lebanese and Syrian immigration

offices, but on the Lebanese side of the border in the same place hit by warplanes on Saturday.

The border was open on Sunday, but people arriving in Lebanon were forced to leave their cars, walk around the bomb crater and find new transportation on the Lebanese side of the border. (Reuters)"
