That's what the OWNER of the property wanted. The OWNER of the property would not let him build the fence he wanted. As for keeping out illegals, we don't know and most likely never will.
He stopped building, at the site the wee cattle fence was built, because he said it was TOO HOT to do more, but now you're saying that, he'll build the Israeli type fence someplace else.
He stopped building because the lack of volunteers. The volunteers think it's TOO HOT. And yes, he has stated he will build other fences on other properties. Luckily, it won't stay TOO HOT for more then another 2 months. There's plenty of time to build.

That fence has already been cut, SEVERAL TIME, and hasn't kept out any illegals; not even stray cattle. This per the owner of the ranch. And yet, Simcox waves this fence about, like some damned bloody shirt!
Nope, if you would read Simcox's own statements on the matter, which have been endlessly posted to FR, by his proponents, he claims that the fence was stopped DUE TO THE HEAT! But YOU claim that the fence was built to Ladd's specifications and then turn right around and say the volunteers said it was too hot. Yes, I AM saying that a Pennsylvania lawyer isn't exactly the kind of person one looks for, to build/oversee the building of a supposed Israeli style fence.

If the owner wouldn't let him build something effective, I'm not sure I understand why he decided to build the owner a new cattle fence instead, when everyone including the owner seems to agree that it won't keep out people.
I'm betting the volunteers went home when the cameras did because they knew the fence wasn't what it ought to be.
