Recently, the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, Inc. (MCDC), and our fiduciary accountability has been called into question in reports in the Washington Times newspaper. Its editors continue to misrepresent the facts and have purposely based their reports and editorials on information that is inaccurate.
They continue in their attempt to hold us to a different and improperly applied fiduciary standard than any other non-profit in the country. Jerry Seper and Wes Pruden seem not to understand the first, most basic matters of non-profit accounting and regulatory obligation. Further, Pruden absurdly describes Sepers reporting as careful, rigorous when Seper has not spoken to at least two of his three sources on this matter in over a year, and he and his editors deliberately failed to disclose in their innuendos regarding where our money is spent, that tens of thousands of dollars was spent on full-page issues advocacy advertising in the Washington Times itself.
A year ago, people called us racists and vigilantes. We have overcome those falsehoods with an organizational performance of diligence, responsibility and excellent stewardship of the resources entrusted to us by our supporters and volunteers. Our careful spending and high standards in the field, combined with the generosity and faithfulness of our citizen patriot supporters, have allowed us to grow rapidly and effectively, consistent with our mission. This has been accomplished, in part, by aggressive advertising and outreach to people across the country, putting a spotlight on the state of lawlessness at our wide-open borders which our government continues to tolerate......."[snip]

What goes into classifying a person on the immigration issue as having a liberal view? It seems from some of the polls I have been seeing that it is not exactly clearcut that the conservative base has jelled around a particular position.
However, again as I said yesterday. It seems to me that this discussion is just not about the Fence or Simcox. I think these threads in fact show that. It seems the overall emphasis has been the greater problem and not just this particular situation
I'm not saying this to personally attack you, but go look at some of your past posts regarding illegal alien families. They're downright bleeding-heart. They value emotion over logic, which is what liberalism is all about.
Well, I know people can disagree on this issue. But I wouldn't say that those post are based on emotion over logic. I think they are based on legitimate question of morality and natural law to a certain extent. As well as valid questions as to potential future potential social and political cost of some the proposals that have been going around.
So you don't believe in the 2nd Amendment. There's a real shocker.
I can only speak for myself, but I don't recall doing so.
I actually don't recall seeing any posts averring that he's a crook, but you're welcome to do some digging and prove me wrong, if you can.
I suppose people can disagree, but those who defend Simcox despite all the evidence seem to be doing the same in my view.
Yes, Amelia, GREAT MINDS DO THINK ALIKE! :-)
Just a little thought for you as you start your work day: Unless they are working the night shift, those who post into the wee hours are wasting no one's time but their own.
There is no fence and there never will be any fence. The only fence will be the one around the prison.
