These people have overcome every conqueror since the dawn of mankind and still have their culture intact.

They paid dearly for this, too.

Keeping their culture intact and avoiding assimilation, it made it far too easy to paint them as "The Enemy Within" every time it suited some despot's political purpose.

They were there first. They were driven out and GOD used his chosen people to do it not because of their righteousness, but because those that were there were so evil. The muslims do not worship the same GOD. They worship a false god so from their perspective because they were there first they have the right to the land.

We have a revisionist view of history that fits well with making the Holocaust an event effecting a singular group of people. IIRC, more non Jews were killed in the death camps than Jews, but this has been forgotten. We have forgotten that the evil effected a great many people.
