To: Knitting A Conundrum

You're probably right about Bibbi. Thanks for the news. I hope they can stop any more arms coming in from Iran and Syria. However, it might not matter since they have had years to stock pile those underground bunkers.

Speaking of the underground bunkers - why were they allowed to be built in the first place. Surely someone was monitoring the Hezbull's activity in Lebanon???

A reasonable expectation. But it appears that the store wasn't being minded very well, doesn't it?

In the future, if there is a futue, I certainly hope this has been a good learning experience the intel groups.

Yes, UNIFIL was but apparently they just were 'holding coats' while Hezbullah built up its weapons cache.

They were being built under the UN Money for Bunkers program:


UN gives money to muslim countries, muslim countries make sure terrorist groups get the money.
